چکیده

در طول تاریخ تمدن بشرى، کتابخانه‌ها، آرشیوها و موزه‌ها، همواره نهادهائى بوده‌اند که دسترسى به اطلاعات را تسهیل کرده و موجب ترویج و پیشرفت علمى - فرهنگى جوامع شده‌اند. رشد و توسعه فناورى‌هاى اطلاعات و ارتباطات، امکانات بى‌سابقه‌اى براى نهادهاى میراث فرهنگى فراهم کرده و نیز، تقاضاهاى تازه‌اى را جهت دسترس‌پذیر ساختن مجموعه‌هایشان در سطح وسیع و خارج از مرزهاى سازمانى باعث شده است. همچنین، به دلیل افزایش استفاده از فناورى‌هاى اطلاعات و ارتباطات، شکاف بین این سه نهاد فرهنگى کاهش یافته است. از این رو، همگرائى میان آن‌ها بیشتر شده است؛ تا جایى که برخى از کشورها، نهادهایى جهت اداره مشترک کتابخانه‌ها، آرشیوها و موزه‌ها ایجاد کرده‌اند. در این مقاله، موضوع همگرائى میان کتابخانه‌ها، آرشیوها و موزه‌ها، در نتیجه گسترش فناورى‌هاى اطلاعاتى، مورد بحث و بررسى قرار گرفته است.

In the history of human civilization, libraries, archives and museums have always been institutions which have facilitated access to information and have scientifically and culturally promoted and improved societies. The growth and development of information and communication technologies has provided unprecedented facilities for cultural heritage institutions. This has also raised new demands for accessibility to the collections of these institutions well outside traditional organizational boundaries. Moreover, due to the increase in the usage of information and communication technologies, the split between these three types pf cultural institutions has decreased and they have become more integrated. Accordingly some countries have established mechanisms to jointly administer libraries, archives and museums. In this paper, the integration of libraries, archives and museums due to development of information technologies is studied.
