چکیده

مقاله حاضر، شرح واقعه دستگیری، توقیف و شکنجه بنان السلطان، مدیر روزنامه میهن است که توسط ماژور فضل الله خان، فرمانده ژاندارمری اصفهان، به دلیل نگارش مقاله ای با عنوان «وظیفه چیست؟»، در سال 1299 ش. انجام شد. این مقاله، با استناد به اسناد موجود در سازمان اسناد و کتابخانه ملی ایران تهیه شده است.

This article describes arresting and torturing of Mihan Newspaper's director,
Banan-O-Sultan by Major Fazlollah Khan, the commander of Esfahan Gendarmerie, because of writing the article named "What Is Duty?" in 1920. The author writes this article based on the existing records in Iran National Archives and Library Organization.
