Kamran Mirza Nayeb Al-saltane’s wedding ceremony retailed by Naser-AI-Din Shah
Concubine of Naser-AI-Din Shah, Monir-AI-Saltane, gave birth to Kamran Mirza Nayeb-AI-Saltane in 1856, She was a talented lady. Every year in the birth anniversary of Hazrat Zahra (PBUH), Monir arranged a splendid ceremony. Kamran Mirza was chosen as viceroy to Naser-AI-Din Shah's regin, when he was three. Again, in 1861, six-year-old K amran appointed to Tehran's governorship. In 1872, when the King 's son was 16, he married Sorrour-AI-Dowleh, daughter of Sultan Morad Mirza Hesam-AI-Din, known as conquerer of Herat. The wedding ceremony was a glorious one, arranged in several days, and Naser-AI-Din Shah depicted his observations in the party. He has writen about fireworks, lights, wrestlings, acrobats, singers, Dowry’s transfer to bride-groom’s house, the way it was taken, dying hands of the bridegroom by Henna, a special ceremony for foreign ambassadors, and Naser-AI-Din Shah's introducing of the couple to each other.
