Abstract

In the process of transferring governmental writings from one collection to another, variations   are created generally as a result of the ideological, linguistic, political etc. conditions of the writer of the latter collection. This issue is important from a historical and archival point of view. The author’s research on records and writings of the Uzbeks collection - which revealed that this collection is influenced by the Sharafnameh collection- lead him to compare similar

writings of the two collections, which were written in different eras. Therefore in this article an attempt has been made to study the quantity and quality of transferring writings and thepotential differences of the two collections. In order to study the differences of the original

error, misplacing words, omission and addition, and alteration. It is concluded that the Uzbeks collection has taken 10 writings from Sharafnameh and that the Roemer facsimile for the Sharafnameh has advantages over the Uzbeks collection in many respects. Furthermore, it is shown that the transferred writing is not only affected by the errors of the writer but also by their cultural, social, linguistic etc. environment.
