Aims and Scope

Scope of the Journal
A large number of administrative records have been produced and are now being used in
correspondence flow in ministries and government organizations in the country. Records that
are permanently retained after review and appraisal are historical records that are of interest to
researchers and historians.

Ganjine-ye Asnad as the only archival journal in the country seeks to make it necessary to carry out
historical research in the country based on documented historical records, therefore, in its historical articles
section, it only accepts articles that meet this requirement. Secondly, by publishing archival articles in the journal,
it seeks to incorporate archival knowledge into the issues of providing and evaluating, adjusting and processing,
preserving, and archiving archival records. Electronic records and how to carry on the aforementioned processes are
also a necessity of today’s archives and is considered in Ganjine-ye Asnad. Ganjine-ye Asnad accepts the papers
to review and go through the reviewer/referee process based on the abovementioned approaches.
