Abstract

Purpose: Because oral history, as a branch of historical science, is a chance for study in organizations, including the Police Organization, this article endeavors to study and examine the most significant damages to the oral history of the Sacred Defense in the Police Organization pathologically.
Method and Research Design: Content analysis of selected texts in this article is employed to examine and quantify the most substantial harms of such works. Field studies and organizational lived experiences form another component of the data.
Findings and Conclusion: The Sacred Defense decade in the Police Force was a critical period during which workers were engaged in service on the fronts of the war or nationally in the security and order sector. Because of that, gathering their memories in various forms is highly important for the present and future of the organization. The outcome of the study reveals that there are structural, methodological, content-related, and human factors involved in the compilation of the oral history of the Sacred Defense.
