Vaghf is a Prominent sign of benevolence, giving aid to human being, Promoting Islamic community' s objectives, and regulating social and economic affairs. The admirable tradition has long been commonplace in Iran, and emerged as a new one, when Islam was introduced to the country. The article has mentioned related verses and Hadiths as well. The vaghf Process was improved in Safavid Era, and an organized administration was set up to manage the tradition at the time. Therefore,the author briefly enumerates Astane-Quds Endowment in neighboring states, Imam Reza (PBUH) Endowments used to be quiet a few, hence after severe changes in geopolitics, there remained many endowments in Afghanistan, Kharazm, and Mavara-un-Nahr, and Caucasus, used to be in Khorasan region, and under Astane-Quds Razavi. The article has examined briefly those endowments, referring to records, books, and decrees of Ali Shah Afshar and Azod-UI-Molk
