Abstract

The author offers Nasereddin Shah’s hand-written diaries on his journey to Qom City from Wednesday 28/1/1868 to Monday 16/2/1868. Along the way, he spent his time in hunting games, promenading with his attendants, horse-riding, etc. and was informed of the State affairs through letters. Qn his arrival to Qom, he was welcomed by the Princes, the Governor and some local clergy. After pilgrimage to Hazrai-c-Ma’&oumeh’s Shrine, ordering some repairs, and visiting endowed weapons in the museum, The King returned to Tehran.
