After reviewing the archaeological and historical evidences about Golpayegan, this research tries to investigate the socio-economical status of this city on the verge of the constitutional revolution using the available resources. Afterwards, the political and social condition which existed after the constitutional revolution is briefly studied and the reasons for people’s dissatisfaction are explored. Finally, by introducing a record, the security condition around 1921 and the attitudes of people about the existence of soldiers, as security providers, is discussed.
