The author describes archives concept; inactive archives' history, its importance, status, and goals, besides its existing situation. He tries to explain National Archives relationship with Inactive Archives Center. He concludes that we can collected and preserved records and inactive records of organizations in a more proper condition and prepared an optimum condition for users by establishing Iran Inactive Archives Center.
