The quality of data in traditional and electronic archival information systems is one of the public faiths in archival material, the significance of an archival institution in society and the use of archival material in research. Both archival information systems develop and, in practice, use different solutions to ensure the quality of data. The archivist must work on the standardization of procedures at national and international levels on assuring such quality.
