Changes noticed are compared with the styles used in arithmetic text of the same period. The purpose has been to provide evidence for the style of writing numbers in scientific texts as well as properties the digit zero has, and ways of locating it in such texts and its functions. Method: Data was collected from a thousand dated records randomly selected from within a collection  of records produced over 140 years (1795-1925) in four regions of Iran (Central, Fars, Northern region, and Northwestern). Dates of records and classification of writing styles was carried out using statistical techniques. Comparative method was used and library resources were consulted. Findings: Four writing styles were identified in the four regions. Written forms with some variation were seen in all regions except northwestern (due to limited access to records). The function of zero in arithmetic texts in the era follows mathematical logic. Such texts discuss the properties and characteristics of zero, its function, and the possibility of its omission or addition into a certain string of numbers. The only case in which the rank of zero was shifted without change in its value was found in one such text examined. Variations in  the styles of  writing dates of scripture  is caused by changes and manipulations  of zero, which in turn is caused  by scribes' own styles and tastes,  as well as the need for speed-writing, broken-writing, and possibly carelessness, and in some cases lack of space on the page.}, keywords = {Zero,Hijri Lunar Calendar,historical records,Qajars,Spatial Number Writing,Scientific Texts,Scribers}, title_fa = {پژوهشی در چگونگی نگارش «رقم صفر» در «تاریخ کتابت» اسناد دوران قاجار}, abstract_fa = {هدف: پژوهش حاضر در پی مشخص کردن انواع شکل‌های تحریری «تاریخ هجری قمری» در اسناد دوران قاجار، بر اساس تغییرات به وجود آمده در نگارش «عدد صفر» و بررسی دلایل آن است. همچنین، بررسی‌های مقایسه‌ای با نسخه‌های خطی علمِ حساب، در دوران قاجار‌، به منظور یافتن شواهد احتمالی وجود این سبک نگارش اعداد در متون علمی و نیز خواص عدد صفر و نحوه جای گیری و عملکرد آن در سلسله اعداد از دیدگاه این متون از اهداف دیگر پژوهش حاضر است. روش/ رویکرد پژوهش: این پژوهش با گزینش تصادفی 1000 برگ سند تاریخ‌دار دوران قاجار؛ از یک دوره زمانی 150 ساله؛ از چهار منطقه مرکز، فارس، شمال، و شمال غرب ایران صورت گرفته است. روش و رویکرد پژوهش حاضر، بررسی و ثبت و ضبط تاریخ‌های اسناد و طبقه‌بندی اشکال تحریری آن‌ها با روش آماری و نیز مطالعات مقایسه‌ای و کتابخانه‌ای است. یافته‌های پژوهش: در بررسی‌ها، چهار شیوه تحریری گوناگون برای تاریخ کتابت اسناد، در مناطق چهارگانه، و با میزان تکرار متفاوت مشخص گردید. اشکال تحریری مشخص شده (با ویژگی تغییرات عدد صفر) در اسناد تمامی مناطق، بجز شمالغرب (به دلیل محدودیت اسناد بررسی شده) وجود داشت. عملکرد صفر در نسخ خطی علم حساب، در دوران قاجار، پیرو منطق ریاضی است. این نسخه‌ها، ضمن پرداختن به خواص و ویژگی‌ها، نحوۀ عملکرد و اهمیت این عدد در سلسلۀ اعداد، به امکان حذف یا اضافه‌نویسی این عدد در یک مقدار عددی اشاره‌ای نداشتند. تنها ویژگی جابجایی صفر- البته در مرتبه مکانی خود و بدون تغییر مقدار و کمیت عدد- توسط نویسنده یکی از این نسخه‌ها به کار رفته بود. تغییرات نگارشی تاریخ کتابت اسناد در اثر تغییر و دستکاری رقم صفر، ناشی از شیوه‌های فردی و سلایق شخصی کاتبان در نویسندگی، در اثر نیاز به تندنویسی و شکسته‌نویسی، به دلیل حجم زیاد اسناد و شاید کم دقتی ناشی از آن و در برخی موارد کمبود فضای نگارش صورت گرفته است.}, keywords_fa = {صفر,تاریخ هجری قمری,اسناد تاریخی,قاجار,عدد نویسی مکانی,متون ریاضی,کاتبان}, url = {https://ganjineh.nlai.ir/article_1157.html}, eprint = {https://ganjineh.nlai.ir/article_1157_ac6d17cb768ef1d9abdcda7fdbbf5627.pdf} }
